NAGANO Olympic Ski Jumping team GOLD medal scenery ver 1.0
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

This is a GOLD medal jumping of NAGANO Olympic Games.
Ski jumping stadium, spectators, the Olympic Flame, score board, and
animated jumper Harada are there. This scenery is designed for
FS6(=FS95) and FS98 both.

I planed making all Japanese team jumpers (4 men), but I only make
Mr. Harada, because of the limit (There are many limits, and I name it
"nuclear force" on this time.) to the number of objects that can be
displayed by FlightSimulator.
Jumper jumps always but you can stop animation for watching in detail.
Spectators, the Olympic Flame, and a score board are also animated.
Further, you can enjoy the scene of calm stadium after Olympic Games
finished.

- How to install -

If you use FS95, you need a Microsoft MS-JAPAN scenery.
After unzipping the zip file, there are files not included in Fs95
nor Fs98 folders. These files are common files for FS95 and FS98 both.
First, put Fs5.pal and Needle.r8 to the Texture folder which is
located just under the folder of FS95 or FS98. Original file must be
saved to a safe place. Fs5.pal file is upper conpatible to Fs5.pal
which I made at the time of "Cherry blossom texture", therefore
you can use only this time Fs5.pal. Needle.r8 is a texture for a
village and a part of a mountai, you have to return original one
for seeing summer scene.
Next, put all textures which name are Hakuba... , Jump..., and
Ski... to Texture folder of MS-JAPAN if you use FS95 and MS-JAPAN;
or to Texture folder of Asia if you use FS98.
Next, if you use FS95 and MS-JAPAN, open Fs95 folder, put Msjp17.jpn
file in Ms_japan-tex folder to Texture folder of MS-JAPAN, put
Nagano98.bgl file to scenery folder, and put
NAGANO Olympic Ski Jumping.STN file to Pilots folder respectively.
Or, if you use FS98, open Fs98 folder, put f350044.txr in Asia-tex
folder to Texture folder of Asia folder, put Naga98a.bgl file to
scenery folder, and put NAGANO Olympic Ski Jumping.STN file to
Pilots folder respectively.
When you paste texture files, do not forget saving default files
to a safe place.
If you want to return original condition, Needle.r8, Msjp17.jpn,
and f350044.txr files have to be returned to original ones.
The other files (including palette) can exist without changing to
original files, scene is not affected by these files. (But some
of these files affect a limit to the number of objects, so it is
better to delete if you use the other sceneries except Microsoft
original scenery.)

- Usage -

Select NAGANO Olympic Ski Jumping from Flight menu, and you can
go to Ski Jumping Stadium at Hakuba NAGANO directly. Please enjoy
your journey with slew mode.
First, Olympic Games are held all the time of the year 1998. (This
means that if you want to see calm stadium, select the year not
1998.) And I recommend you setting season summer, and time around
noon. Because snow is becomimg dirty if you set other settings,
by the characteristics of Microsoft default sceneries.
If you set dawn or dusk, jumping animation is not held but you can
see the scene of the Olympic Flame, and a score board.
All the time jumper keeps jumping without any operation. The period
is about 16 seconds. If you select Pause command, jumping is not
paused. If you want to stop jumping animation, please set the date
to August 25. About a reason for this date, please visit here.

Comparing FS95 and FS98, FS95 is better than FS98 in this scenery.
About a detail of this, please visit here.
http://www.yk.rim.or.jp/~s-ito/FS/Making/Object.html

If you use FS95, you can see both files of Nagano98.bgl and
Naga98a.bgl. (But please do not put in these at the same time.)
It is no use to see Naga98a.bgl, because Naga98a.bgl is only the
file deleted some objects from Nagano98.bgl for being enable to
be seen by FS98.

** Distinguish versions
Please look a property of this bgl file by clicking a right button
of the mouse. You will find a difference of modified date and size
of the file like this. Please notice the difference between the
scenery for FS95 and FS98.

For FS95
Nagano98.bgl ver1.0 Apr.2,1998(modified date) 57.4KB(file size)

For FS98
Naga98a.bgl ver1.0 Apr.2,1998(modified date) 55.1KB(file size)
