Germanium Radio

With not to be needed a power supply, this is the most basic AM radio. This is a stylish ? radio like this, but this is made from a toilet-roll core (a toilet-roll core is not included in the kit.). The coil is winded by yourself. There are a diode and a variable condenser inside of the pipe.
Because there is no amplifying circuit, an antenna and a ground are needed in some quality. There is fresh impression when you succeed in hearing sound from it. The photo upper-right is a part of manual. This manual includes explanation to make it with many photos. The photo upper-left is finished after assembling. You can choose the body color.
